Vograce Custom Card Decks: New Formats & Four TCG Tiers

Vograce Custom Card Decks

If you've ever tried turning your original characters into a real trading card game, you know the hard part isn't usually the artwork — it's figuring out what kind of card actually does that artwork justice. Glossy or matte? Holographic paper or a foil finish? Standard cardstock, or something with real weight and snap in your hand? Our custom card decks collection has grown to cover all of it, with a few new everyday formats alongside a four-tier system built specifically for TCG-style rarity. Here's what's in it, and how to pick.

New in the Lineup: Sports, Collectible, and Game Cards ✨

Three new formats round out the collection, each starting at $0.79:

· Custom Sports Cards — for athlete-style cards, team sets, or anything that leans on that classic sports-card look

Custom Sports Cards

· Custom Collectible Cards — general-purpose cards for character sets, mini-series, or numbered collectibles

Custom TCG Collectible Card

· Custom Game Cards — sized and finished for cards that are actually going to be shuffled and played with

Custom Game Cards

What makes all three flexible rather than fixed is the finish library behind them: ten base papers, from a straightforward 350g coated stock up through nine holographic textures like Feather Silk, Silvery Fibers, and Slanted Light Pillars, paired with your choice of lamination — a clean glossy or matte film, a starburst or "broken glass" holographic film, or a soft-touch coating that feels almost like fabric. In practice, that means a Sports Card can lean toward "classic pack-pulled card" or toward "holo insert" without switching product lines. And like the rest of our card printing, there's no minimum order — one design or a hundred, the price per card stays the same.

The Four-Tier TCG Rarity System

If you're building an actual trading card game — commons, rares, chase cards and all — our custom TCG cards are organized into four tiers. Think of them less as a strict price ladder and more as four different ways of making a card feel special, so you can match the finish to the rarity you're printing.

Tier 1 – Base: Custom Laminated TCG Cards, from $0.79

The workhorse of the set. Printed on 350g coated paper and finished with your choice of eight lamination films — glossy, matte, star illusion, holographic, star, cross, "broken glasses" holographic, or soft touch. It comes in three sizes, including a rounded-corner option, with same-design or different-design backs. This is where most of a deck's commons and uncommons should live: durable, affordable, and still available in a genuinely holographic finish for the packs you want to feel a little luckier.

Tier 2 – Rare: Custom Holographic TCG Cards, from $1.07

Here the shimmer comes from the card stock itself rather than a film laid on top — nine textured papers, including Cloud Pattern, Plain Holographic Gold, and Holo Beam, each catching light differently under a glossy or matte overlay. It's a genuinely popular finish — this listing alone has racked up 418 customer reviews — and it's the natural home for a set's rare-tier or secret-rare cards.

Custom Holographic TCG Cards

Tier 3 – Ultra-Rare: Custom Foil & Spot UV TCG Cards, from $1.49

Start with the same nine holographic stocks as Tier 2, then add a velvety soft-touch laminate on the front with a matte back, plus foil stamping and spot UV gloss detailing worked into the artwork. It's the most layered finish in the collection — worth reaching for on alt-art cards, chase cards, or anything meant to be the highlight of a pack.

Custom Foil & Spot UV TCG Cards

Tier 4 – Collector's Edition: Custom Duplexed Foil & Spot UV TCG Cards, from $1.00

Tier 4 skips the layered-finish approach and changes the construction instead. The card is duplexed — two sheets of stock bonded together — for the thickness and snap of an actual physical TCG card, then finished with raised foil stamping you can feel under your thumb. It comes in the standard 63×88mm trading card size, with eight base paper options including a plain 350g coated stock if you want the sturdier build without the holographic shimmer. Despite the "Collector's Edition" name, it's priced accessibly — the premium here is in how the card is built, not in stacking on extra print effects.

Custom Duplexed Foil & Spot UV TCG Cards

Mapping this to an actual set: Tier 1 covers your commons and uncommons, Tier 2 is the default for rares, Tier 3 suits chase cards and alt-art, and Tier 4 is worth considering when you want an entire run to have that authentic, in-hand card feel.

Beyond TCG: More Card Formats to Explore

The collection isn't limited to trading card games. A few other formats worth a look if your project calls for something different:

Try Before You Commit: The Trading Cards Sample Pack

Paper weight and finish are hard to judge from a product photo — holographic especially. If you're deciding between tiers, the Trading Cards Sample Pack is currently $0.99 (down from $3.99) and puts a range of our card styles directly in your hands. It's genuinely the fastest way to know whether "soft touch" or "holographic" is the finish your artwork needs, before committing to a full print run.
